Core Management Team
Centrechild House's Team is made up of a competent care and support team. Our team consists of the director, service manager human resources lead and a senior support worker. We aim to continuously improve and provide quality support to our service users.
Our Team

Vida Anorson
Vida Anorson is a qualified Advanced Social Worker Practitioner and has experience in working with children and young people. Since her qualification, she has worked in various children’s roles. As part of working in children’s settings she has worked in a specialist frontline, children in care and unaccompanied asylum-seeking minors' team for a Local Authorities including conducting s47, 37,7 and age assessments as a Senior Practitioner and lead assessor. Ms Anorson also has experience in court work including preparing reports, care plans and statements for court.
Further Ms Anorson has vast knowledge of safeguarding children and working with young children who are or maybe at risk of or may be at risk of child exploitation (CE) or child sexual exploitation (CSE). Ms Anorson has also worked in supervisory roles as a team manager and also assisting newly qualified social workers and social workers with their daily practice in safeguarding children.
During this role she has worked with a significant number of Children who have experienced trauma and assisting them with its impact. Further she has worked with unaccompanied asylum-seeking minors who have become Looked After Children and during their transition into adulthood. Ms Anorson has also attended relevant safeguarding training. Ms Anorson is registered with Social Work England.

Martin Kyei
Martin Kyei is a Senior Practitioner and has experience in working with children and young people. He has over 4 years’ experience working with children and young adults with challenging behaviours. Most of this experience has been within transition teams and preparing children transitioning into independent living. Martin holds a BA in Social Work and a BIA Post-Graduate Diploma. He is registered with Social Work England.
Martin also has experience in working with adults’ services and completing needs assessment and recommending appropriate care packages. He holds expertise in deprivation of liberty assessments, Martin regularly completes BIA assessment to assess whether the deprivation of liberty is proportionate and is necessary in caring for the individual in question. He holds experience in completing age and Human rights assessments and has been fully trained on this. Martin also has experience in completing, initial carer’s assessments, risk assessments where safeguarding concerns are prevalent.
Martin has a good working knowledge of The Children Act 1989 and associated regulations, The Adoption and Children Act 2002, The Children and Young Persons Act 2008, The Children and Families Act 2014 and the Care Planning, Placement and Case Review, Age Assessment case laws, including The Merton Judgement, R (B)-v-London Borough of Merton.
